I was reading the Cheltenham v Exeter report and amazingly there were eight different goal scorers in one game. Was this a record I thought. Well if it was it didn't last long; the Bolton v Port Vale game had nine.

This is getting really daft now.
Stans thread has been stripped of every comment apart from the original statement again.
Have I missed something as this just seems downright silly now.
Why all this interference its a football forum or is it?

Do you think such facts point to the fact that L2 clubs just can’t afford specialist strikers or is it just a weird bit of serendipity? You’d have thought at least one “ striker “ might have managed two whatever’s the reason it does seem remarkable, well spotted.

According to the BBC, Liam Sercombe scored two for Cheltenham v Exeter. 7 different goal scorers there. They, of course, could be wrong.
