Obviously National League South is about their level.

Darren was a fine player in his time.
No need for that.

It cracks me up that you think its fine to slag off JE but when someone else has their views on a former player you state ..''Darren was a fine player in his time''

''there's no need for that'' when they make a comment you don't agree with ??????????????????????????????

JE had his many faults and i never liked his style of management and the way he departed the club left a very sour taste in many fans mouths but the guy deserves some credit for what he did. You however are quite happy to slag him off in other posts on this forum # hypocrite

What are you on about Corky.
Where am I slagging off JE anymore than dozens of other posters including you.
You really need to chill out.
"Darren was a fine player in his time"

Is that correct. Yes

"Obviously National league South"

Is that correct? No

How does that have anything to do with JE.

Give it a rest please.

In fact f***k it

Over and I am out.

Darren Jones may have been "a fine player in his time", however he seems to have found his current level at Bath City, 10th in the National League South. Is that correct?

Of course it's correct now. In his time Darren was certainly a lot better than Connie South but NOW it's his level.

Unfortunately for us, his time was before he went to FGR.

It wasn't the fact that his legs were going during his last season with us its the unprofessional attitude he had. He loved to go out and get mullured almost every weekend. As a Professional Footballer of his age its not the best way to go about being 'Professional' is it ?
Granted he did his best but if he had been more professional in his attitude he could and would have been a much better player.

Andy Sandell came off the bench in the 84th minute at Truro last night and very shortly afterwards received a red card.

Is this some sort of record?

Chippenham had a player sent off after 3 seconds in 2009. His name was Pratt. The record is Gillespie of Sheffield Utd and Boyd of Swansea who in different games were both sent before play had resumed so technically were sent off after 0 seconds.

I still don't quite get what the whole deal of offering a contract to myrie Williams was. I guess most of us assume that him and Jackson were offered low wage squad filler contracts. Jackson said yes, mw thought he could haggle maybe?

Possibly, though neither of them did enough to warrant being offered new deals imo.
