Re: News regarding ex County players
198More interesting facts.
Much appreciated.
It does show that we have had some totally forgettable players on loan over the years though.

Re: News regarding ex County players
199Not exactly ex players but I see following Friday's match Mike Flynn has now been in charge of more games than any of our last 5 managers with a win rate significantly better than any of them - Sheridan is the only one that comes remotely close.
Only one of the previous 5 (Warren Feeney) is currently employed by a Football League club (only one of 6 if you include Justin Edinburgh). Seems the grass is not always greener - especially now we have a nice new playing surface.

Re: News regarding ex County players
200To be fair how many league one games between them have JE and Sheridan been in charge of over the last 5 years compared to county? Arguably the grass was greener.County Exile wrote:Not exactly ex players but I see following Friday's match Mike Flynn has now been in charge of more games than any of our last 5 managers with a win rate significantly better than any of them - Sheridan is the only one that comes remotely close.

201Billy Jones:
Left back.
Signed from Cheltenham in 2013/14 on a monthly contract.
Made just six appearances for County.
He scored just one goal which came in the 3-2 loss at Rodney Parade against Morecambe, clearly remembered for the hatrick Tom Naylor conceded, scoring two og's and conceding a penalty of which our very own Padraig Amond converted.
Current Club: Barking.
George Barker:
Forward.
Loaned from Brighton & HA in 2013/14.
Made just two appearances for County.
Current club: Havant & Waterlooville.
Charlie Clough:
Defender.
Loaned from Bristol Rovers in 2010/11.
Made just two appearances for County.
Current club: Barnet.
Clough is a regular in Barnets starting lineup which means that Barnet may start at Rodney Parade Tuesday next week with three ex County in Stephens, Tutonda and Clough.

202Rated Billy Jones.
Scored one of the best goals since return to Div 2.
There was a chap, attacker we had on loan from Swindon couple of seasons ago or was that George Barker who went to them after leaving us.
Not sure bit mixed over the facts.

204Where is the right back we signed when Hudson was here. He previously played for Crystal Palace.......USA! Actually had a decent monty but we were desperate to improve in other areas in the squad and he had to go because he was on a short term contract. Think it freed up funds for pipe.
Re: News regarding ex County players
205Paul Robson. Mentioned him a few times in this thread. Anthony Hudson signed him from US team Crystal Palace Baltimore and he is currently player manager of Barton Town.Bush wrote:Where is the right back we signed when Hudson was here. Re: News regarding ex County players
207Paul Robson was OK but Hudson also signed Paul Rodgers - I think it was the same weekend - when we didn't need two specialist right backs. Plus Tom Miller was already here and that was his best position..

Re: News regarding ex County players
209Got to be fair Williams is on a scoring roll must be top scorer in that league now maybe if he keeps this up Flynny will give him another chance
Re: News regarding ex County players
210I like Williams, still relatively young (just turned 24) and showed in a poor side that he is infinitely better than Quigley has been for us.
