Cant we get someone to help towards his wages if MF cant afford him ?

500 or so fans paying a few quid a week.... Cant see him being on much more than a grand a week

Premiership / championship striker on less per week than some League 2 journeymen????, good lord. Maybe you should google what agency he has signed up to.

Firstly , he is not a Premiership striker, he is in the U23/development squad of a newly promoted club to the Premier League.
Going on your argument we would not have signed White( Brighton) , Quigeley (Bournemouth),Sheehan( Swansea) on loan last season because they would have been on MEGA wages and out of our pay structure because they were at Premier League clubs. Is that correct in what your saying ???
Believe it or not , not all players are on Mega wages just because they are at Premiership clubs. Even teams like Man City , Arsenal , Tottenham etc have players in their U23 squad on £1,000 per week.

No chance Cardiff let us have Healey with Harris here, even if we could afford it. They'll be able to find another club for Healey without a problem so both can get game time.

As for these types of loans, I'd imagine we don't contribute much, if anything, towards the wages of our loanees provided they get time on the pitch. Quite a few PL clubs offer out loans for free, with 'fines' if the player doesn't get time on the pitch each week. These clubs are raking in millions, they'd prefer the player get game time than their wages covered.

Dean Saunders on Talksport last week said the same - general agreement to loans is the more the loanee plays the less the club playing him pays. Makes sense but I guess all loan deals vary to some degree.
