What did he expect in L1 I suspect he is getting well paid though so good on him if he takes a pay cut to play regularly.

I'd like to have seen Williams stay, but the question is will he be so prolific for Brackley if he drops back to training a couple of evenings a week.

Thats the gag though isn't it. you earn £1,000 at club A, move to club B for £2,000 but hardly play. then you move to club C but say that you'll only take a small cut to your wages etc. You sign a contract for £1,600 with club C. If your nose is in the trough at whatever level these days I'm not sure that many players see an issue with having almost a 'rest year' if that's the consequences of rolling that dice.
