7There were a number of very poor attendances yesterday. A further sign of the diminished status of the F A Cup. Still I am surprised by how few turned up to support Cardiff. Only 5,000 home fans there.

8I'm not surprised at all, they've always been incredibly fickle and quick to desert - they'd have all thought it was a foregone conclusion and even the ST holders would have not bothered to pay the extra to attend. Evidently.
