Re: HOW MANY TICKETS LEFT FOR GENERAL SALE SUN
62Let's hope we see 7000 + on Saturday.......I very much doubt it.
Re: HOW MANY TICKETS LEFT FOR GENERAL SALE SUN
63I doubt we will see 7,000 actually at the game on Wednesday. There are always some people who have bought a ticket but when the day comes, cannot make it to the match as we saw with our sold out match at home. I'd have thought a greater percentage will encounter problems with a midweek away game.
Re: HOW MANY TICKETS LEFT FOR GENERAL SALE SUN
64Amazing how many illnesses. deaths, last minute work commitments there suddenly are.
Has anyone blamed Twm Barlwm erupting yet, or a tsunami up the Usk?
Perhaps people can now understand the frustrations of the exiled fans, trying to get through on one phone line whilst hearing of people grabbing handful of tickets that we now have PROOF they were being overbought.

Re: HOW MANY TICKETS LEFT FOR GENERAL SALE SUN
66It's hardly a surprise, it's pretty much a given that it's what the club intended. All you needed to do was find someone local to get one for you.whoareya wrote:Amazing how many illnesses. deaths, last minute work commitments there suddenly are.

67Be lucky to get 6500.
Under 3000 on Saturday for sure?
Nothing changes.

I've been away from the Zoo for 25 years, family moved out/snuffed it.

70Even so 6500 on a Wednesday night is an amazing effort who really thought we would take that manyHarps62 wrote:Be lucky to get 6500.

72You honestly think it's pretty much a given that it's what the club intended? To have tickets resurface a few hours after the deadline, onto an uncontrolled market and let people who couldn't get down in person rely on verbal pledges of tickets and swaps, however well intended?SJG99 wrote:Someone on this Forum was offering for a start.whoareya wrote:Who's that then - Rent an Uncle?SJG99 wrote: All you needed to do was find someone local to get one for you.

That is idiotic.

73It's a great effort for people wanting to watch Tottenham play as it was those who wanted to watch Leeds. I'll be there Saturday in the minorityRjwebby2811 wrote:Even so 6500 on a Wednesday night is an amazing effort who really thought we would take that manyHarps62 wrote:Be lucky to get 6500.

Re: HOW MANY TICKETS LEFT FOR GENERAL SALE SUN
74The club felt it was appropriate to give every season ticket holder 4 tickets, did you think that was so they could go 4 times?whoareya wrote: You honestly think it's pretty much a given that it's what the club intended? Re: HOW MANY TICKETS LEFT FOR GENERAL SALE SUN
75For the same reason as they sold 50 tickets pre-sale to a sponsor. The club were fully aware that they would not sell out.SJG99 wrote:The club felt it was appropriate to give every season ticket holder 4 tickets, did you think that was so they could go 4 times?whoareya wrote: You honestly think it's pretty much a given that it's what the club intended? By the way the club did the right thing in selling to sponsors, they were right to sell four to season ticket holders. It is just a shame that they didn't have the gumption to say look lads there are plenty of tickets, don't panic.
