Re: Exiles Grandstand : Colchester
47If Flynny sticks by what he said about players being dropped for the replay if they didn't turn up today then Nouble & Willmott will certainly be dropped...a few others weren't at their best either but they were like two fans plucked from the crowd to have a game
Re: Exiles Grandstand : Colchester
48It's not a question of turning on anybody, but I guarantee that in his post match interview Flynn will publicly blame elements of the side, yet who picks the Team or determines the strategy? The last two games he has arguably got both elements wrong.Anto wrote:Let's all turn on Flynn

Not turning on Flynn but what's the point of having a squad when he won't use it ?
He has the same game plan irrelevant of who we face , his substitutions are predictable ( that being the same players at about the same stage of the game) and has his ' favourites ' who he has a ' blind spot for ' who he won't take off or drop.
Not at the game , due to work, so its hard to comment on the display but it isnt very good viewing on I follow and we are carrying passengers who's minds are not 100% focused.
I do agree about Wilmott though who has a yellow streak and less guts than a skeleton . Unless its 95%/5% in his favour he will almost always bottle out of a challenge
Re: Exiles Grandstand : Colchester
50I would like to apologise for my correct score in the predictions

You can bet your house on it that they will be the first two names on his team sheet.

Not turning on Flynny but it was a very poor second half and there were players that should have been brought off.
Hey, I'm not the manager though, and as disappointed as i am today, it happens, we've had another off day, it's League 2 football.
Next up let's enjoy our trip to Wembley.
Re: Exiles Grandstand : Colchester
54Only the 6th game under Flynny that we've failed to score.... 4 away, 2 home
Re: Exiles Grandstand : Colchester
55If you weren't there please don't just think it was a poor performance by us though, Colchester played very well.
Re: Exiles Grandstand : Colchester
56I think we need to forget about the last 2 away games, Enjoy Wembley on Wednesday and then get ready for a tough game against Forest Green next Saturday. Hopefully we can get back to winning ways and start another run. We go again!!!

57Yep.......and we go again with money in the bank!B0mbshell wrote:I think we need to forget about the last 2 away games, Enjoy Wembley on Wednesday and then get ready for a tough game against Forest Green next Saturday. 58Not sure I agree about your favourites comment there. Pipey is one of his favourites. Does he have a 'hamstring' injury? We seem to have been told on here by at least two posters on here that he has had a disagreement.neilcork68 wrote:Anto wrote:Let's all turn on Flynn

I said some time ago, that MF would go through a bad patch. We will see his mettle when we find out how he responds to it. I have a real amount of confidence in the man. Go to it MF.

In a strange sort of way, that is very reassuring to know. Regroup, refocus and move forward.
