He got it right in the league cup game. More to do with fading promotion challenge, that's the real prize. Most Leeds supporters thought they were punching above their weight earlier in season. New manager sounds a proper yorkshireman!

11 v 11 .....Even a squad /team of fringe / squad players should have been good enough to beat us so IMO the players should take most of the blame...Our boys were up for it , Leeds overpaid prima donnas weren't...
Once they cross the white line its the players responsibility...He expected a team he picked would be good enough to win the game...They let him and the fans down....How any of the players have been sacked ???? None just him !!!!!!

Football needs to change so its not just the managers who can be sacked. Granted they are responsible if teams struggle but if the players decide they don't like they guy for whatever reason its easy for them to 'down tools ' because they know they can't be sacked. It should work both ways !!!!
Take Chelsea as an example....one season Champions , the next season the same players under the same manager look as though they have stopped playing for the guy , the club and the fans....Result --------Manager gets sacked , players get a pay rise and suddenly start playing again....If clubs could sack players for breach of contract for non performance it wouldn't happen so often

Technically a club could give that a try but I suspect it would result in a court case and proving that a player isn't trying could be tricky.

Against us Chritiansen failed to give himself an adequate lifeboat by picking 4 youth players as substitutes. That is down to him.
