I'm so glad it's off. Only had to see the state of it last night to realise there wouldn't be much of a game on it even if it wasn't called off.

If its not the Dragons or drainage fault, lets see how many other games are off.
Its not just Newport that the rain is falling on.
Would expect half the fixtures off today with this weather.
To be honest great for player recovery lousy for us.

Surely there needs to be a re-think on the scheduling of fixtures, playing 2 days in a row whether that is rugby/football or football/rugby is asking for trouble at this time of the year.

Morecambe is off, sure there will be more to follow

There are only 3 league games off

Rochdale (not surprising), Morecambe and us.....

Just see photo of pitch.
Its not just waterlogged its wrecked.
All the grass has gone Hazel side just looks like last season.
Only Morecambe off so far as well.
Last night has killed it.
Rain hasn't done that.

I'm sure it was said that all parties would work together to avoid it but maybe with us playing away until end of August meant there would be some unavoidable clashes.Yes ,it needs more dialogue between us and the rugby to try to help the pitch.

The rain's down the entire of the west of the British mainland, it's not like Morecambe's in the east...

Its pissing down across the whole country as far as Morecambe and further or didn't you know.
Apart from Rochdale which is a worse pitch than ours last year everything is still on.
Take a minute go on BBC Football Text League 2.
The header shows our pitch basically void of grass.
Could give you a mouthful back but I wont.
look at the synthetic touch line that's what it should try to look like not just a mud bath.
You real annoy me with that stupid reply.
