The weather does not help but that was not the problem today.
Its been raining all day but not torrential like Blackburn last year when it chucked it down and I think Barnet as well.
The picture from the Hazel today looked awful

How many other games have been called off or is only raining in Newport?

For various reasons I don't think that a lot of effort was put into getting this game played.
This rain has been forecast for almost a week, so if there had been serious intent to get the match played, then surely the rain covers we purchased last year would have been deployed straight after the Dragons game.

Sure management are happy for the postponement.
To be fair not much if any grass especially on the Hazel side.
It certainly will not come back now.

I came down from Chepstow and my friends came from Bristol and Bala for the game, we are all disappointed to say the least.
We will have to watch some egg chasing instead.

Rugby playing next Friday if it rains pitch will be even worse, then we just prey for dry weather and ignore all the media and away management stating we have a terrible pitch again.
