As a Saints season ticket holder I find this timeline most amusing:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/footba ... eline.html

Especially considering that once they'd got rid of the arms dealer (who had his son in charge because he wouldn't have passed the fit and proper test), the bloke who took over nicked the money to buy them, then sold the club within 3 months to someone who many people believed did not actually exist (Ali Al-Faraj, or "Al-Mirage" as he became known) - who then sold on to Balram Chainrai, who played the long game in getting his money back when he eventually sold the ground to the Supporters Trust two admins and three relegations later.

That they still exist is a travesty of immense proportions, having responded to the first CVA which wrote off tens of millions of pounds from their debt by not paying a penny to any non-football creditor. They then deliberately ran up the debt further to reduce HMRC's voting share in their next admin to prevent them getting liquidated as HMRC had committed to rejecting the CVA which would have stopped them coming out of admin. As it was, after nearly two years (but only one full season) in admin, they took a 10 point deduction for coming out of admin when already relegated in L1 which wasn't enforced the following season as the rules dictated (and finished above County in the table due to it).

Triggered. ;)
