With so many people's expectations having run away with themselves, it's maybe sobering to look at the table based on the number of points collected per game, projected over a full season.
The purpose of this table is to show where we stand at this particular time, and very importantly, we need to look at the NUMBER OF POINTS BETWEEN TEAMS, because this will show us how comfortable teams are in their placings, and also how much improvement a team needs to make over the rest of the season.
Please remember this is a snapshot of where we stand NOW, and will change as results change, but it's the points BETWEEN teams that matters, because that tells us how much work needs to be done to progress.
I have left the points with decimal places for the sake of increased accuracy.

Re: LEAGUE 2 - Projected finishing placings 28/03/18
2Seems about right to me. Although we’re all disappointed with the way the season appears to be tailing off, I’m sure most County fans would be happy with us being 10 points closer to the play-offs than relegation with a good cup run thrown in. I think Grimsby will go with Barnet as Chesterfield seem to have a bit of form plus they should get an easy 3 points on Monday!

3Notts County won’t finish that high with their run in

4Play off teams are Exeter, Notts.County, Coventry and Lincoln would love Exeter to win the play offs because of the loyalty of Paul Tisdale and the great youth policy they have in place. Closely followed by Lincoln.
Although Exeter will be playing Lincoln will be a fascinating match up. But with Jayden Stockley expect Exeter to shade it.

5For obvious selfish geographical reasons, I am hoping Exeter remain in Div. 2. Always a great place to visit.somerton moss wrote:Play off teams are Exeter, Notts.County, Coventry and Lincoln would love Exeter to win the play offs because of the loyalty of Paul Tisdale and the great youth policy they have in place.
