Re: MOM Accrington
5Amond for sure.....top player got stuck in. I must admit the team effort tonight was so much better than I've seen in ages
Re: MOM Accrington
6Amond for me too. Their defenders didn't know where he was going to go with the ball, and without it he anticipates where to go brilliantly. Joe Day wasn't far behind mind, as he kept us in the game on two or three occasions.
Re: MOM Accrington
8Also have to say Day and Tozer were excellent. Frank also had a great second 45mins.
Re: MOM Accrington
12Yes Almond was great, working hard up front mainly alone. Day made some fantastic saves which kept us in the game. I don't know why Frank can play such a bizaar game. A court jester one moment then a hero another. But you can't say he's not entertaining.
Re: MOM Accrington
13Even Frank put in a shift tonight.Day made some neat saves but Amond for me.Where does he get his energy to keep popping up on both flanks.
Re: MOM Accrington
15Couldn't make the game tonight due to family/work/"Plastic" duties ....
glad to see us get a result and a good performance. What/Who made the difference ?
