Re: GRANDSTAND: Exiles @ Carlisle
354 outfield subs thats a disgrace mike is registered as a player so thats another name and put the academy kids on there as well for experience. Bang out of order rant over
Re: GRANDSTAND: Exiles @ Carlisle
36Foulston and Collins were unavailable as they were away with the Welsh squad.
Re: GRANDSTAND: Exiles @ Carlisle
37No problem with naming less subs in an end of season game. No point dragging an academy player with no chance of playing up to Carlisle just for numbers, even West Ham and Man City only named 6 subs in games in the Premier League this season.
Anyhoo, enjoyed the game, gutted season is over but can't wait to see what business we do in the transfer window.

39Why have a academy then ffs and fook man city we are newport county we need to bring youth through are we not getting it .it wd have been experience for a academy kids to sit on the bench dont care if dont get on i do wonder exile 1976 and worryabout your posts
Re: GRANDSTAND: Exiles @ Carlisle
40Pointless putting players that are nowhere near first team ready just to make up numbers on the bench. The two youngsters (Foulston & Collins) that possibly could have made it on the bench were on international duty.
Don't worry about my posts, you just keep going full tin foil with your own, muc.

41Back to the game. I thought Touray tried a bit too hard at times and experienced defenders were able to cut out any threat, but it will have done him good and will be a great milestone in his progress.
Has anyone seen more extended highlights than the TV offering, which starts with the corner leading to the Carlisle goal. Many, myself included thought that it came from an offside not given by a rather sluggish linesman. Can anyone shed light on this? We're often mistaken in our first impressions.

42Unbelievable well if our academy is that bad there is something wrong with football club and mf cd be on the bench exile you are barking .as a league 2 side academy is a must
Re: GRANDSTAND: Exiles @ Carlisle
43Academy is a 'must' and does appear to be working well. This season at various times MF has used academy players on six occasions.

The full match video is now in I-Follow. In the build up to the corner can't see the player who receives the ball out wide at the moment the ball is passed too him, but from footage just after it does seem that one, if not two County players would have been playing him on-side.Has anyone seen more extended highlights than the TV offering, which starts with the corner leading to the Carlisle goal.
