I am saying that saying something is not the same as it necessarily being accurate. Unfortunately Newport County AFC have form for saying things that in the event turn out to be inaccurate. Once this happens an unfortunate byproduct is that whether what is being said is accurate or not it is impossible to gauge.
Luckily on this occasion I have no doubt that on Thursday Gavin will chair the supporters meeting and lay this unfortunate rumour to rest.

So many naive comments - we don't have any aggressive creditors demanding payment so as long as we service bank debt and rent then it is prudent to distribute turnover - why would the club keep it in tge company account and make itself liable to tax payments?
But people would rather think that the directors collect all the gate receipts in a big bucket and share it out amongst themselves.
