think I had guessed 12th? just wondering if we can see what people had guessed as a table to see if what we had all thought pre season without the benefit of a crystal ball..anyone know where can see that table?

Think I said 20th. The usual format in the polls is that your own selection is highlighted, but everyone else's remains a mystery. There's always someone who suggests a 1st place finish.

One season too early - I said 6th

I went for 19th.

I dont think I voted in the poll, but pretty much all season I have said I'd be happy with "something like 12th, on something like 66 pts " .....

I said 12th, didn't think we'd have quite enough for the playoffs, delighted with the outcome and the bonus of an inspiring cup run.

A few went for top 7. And someone said they thought we would be total shite, and he would snap your hand off for a 23rd place finish, but somehow then spent the rest of the season moaning when we were just outside the play off's and had a superb cup run.....wonder who

Is this another thinly-veiled dig at Neil Cork?

It's easy to knock (or mock) Corky but he was one of seven people who predicted County would finish in the relegation places and the only one of those bold enough to post that prediction for all to see. I think on the basis that County finished 22nd in both the previous seasons a prediction of somewhere around there has a logic to it (as indeed shared by six other posters). Thankfully Corky was overly pessimistic in his prediction.

Surely this is a forum where views are put forward and debated and I for one think it's better when people are respectful of views expressed by posters that differ from those held by yourself. Triumphalism after the event belongs on the playground - not on a forum of adults discussing football.

Sorry Wattsville, you've kind of contradicted yourself with that post, but the last thing this page needs is another petty argument, I usually agree with you so let's agree to disagree on this one, and look forward to some signings to get us all excited for the next season
