Re: Boreham Wood V Tranmere Conference Play off Final
19Fully deserved. Boreham Wood's passing (apart from on one occasion) and delivery from set pieces was abysmal throughout.

20Another kick in the teeth for Wrexham. Their two local derbies are both off the fixtures for next season.

Gutted for them
Re: Boreham Wood V Tranmere Conference Play off Final
22Tranmere a challenger for promotion next season, good history and crowds. Only 16,000 odd there today though. Didn't we get more when we were at Wembley in the p offs.

24So Tranmere got 2,000 more than us. Maybe not so bad then. Though maybe there were 15,900 from Tranmere and 100 from the other place (sorry to any Borehamwood fans on here)

25Nasty of supporters at Boreham Stiff. I remember watching them a few years ago at Bishop's Stortford.aberexile wrote:So Tranmere got 2,000 more than us. Maybe not so bad then. Though maybe there were 15,900 from Tranmere and 100 from the other place (sorry to any Borehamwood fans on here)
Unpleasant bunch of racists. Normally go for the underdog but really glad Tranmere won.

26Actually, now you come to mention it. Listened to a radio report about a village nearby with no foreign people could trace their ancestors back to the plague. Tranmere more of a threat though, in our league 2 microcosm.Stan A. Einstein wrote:Nasty of supporters at Boreham Stiff. 27Is there such a thing as selective racism?aberexile wrote:Actually, now you come to mention it. Boreham have at least 8 black players in their squad.
Re: Boreham Wood V Tranmere Conference Play off Final
28The team are not the supporters though, are they?

The fans appear to support the balance of the squad.

30My knowledge is from a BBC report. I bow to your superior knowledge. Would rather trust a County fan than the BBC any dayCornish Exile wrote:aberexile wrote:The team are not the supporters though, are they?
