I think you could be right there GSB. An absolute screamer although one Chris Lillygreen scored at Bedworth pushes it close.

Didn't see that one. Off the top of my head the only one that challenges it was Lilygreen from the touchline about 35 yards out at Redditch.

Wasn't that at Gresley? Or was that just another from the touch line.

He did one there too, the one I'm thinking of was part of a hat-trick in a 5-0 win in August '91.

I recall Ceri Williams scoring an absolute beauty at home to Sutton Coldfield when the floodlights failed (1995 I think it was).

Took on a few players on the edge of the box, and then chipped the keeper who was about 7/8 yards off his line from about 30 yards out.

That team was ridiculously good for the level we were playing at.
