Reading the Argos story on this and reading some of the comments from with in, why are we not working with these guys - 2 guys who have played the game and obviously looking at youth development and youngsters playing football.

Possibly because of their connection with Bristol City.

Conflict of interest,let's hope we can retain our youngsters but Darren and Paul have a nice set up,we need to be financially viable for parents or we will lose players.

It's not cheap to join their set up either.

LOL sorry to disappoint - however I do know the pair closely and fully support what they are trying to achieve, and as far as the conflict is concerned I disagree

The photos of it do not look great. It looks tiny so I cannot see what benefit it would bring to NCFC.

Ok fair shout - with them being a Championship Cat 2 Academy trying to become Cat 1 their criteria and standard of player they are looking for would be far superior to ours. So in actual fact I would suggest we would be more likely to benefit from players out of their development set up than Bristol would IMO

I'm fairly sure they are happy to gain the support of a championship side as they are but why can we not also build connections that's all I'm suggesting here

Darren Jones already said that they'll be looking to push their best players to Brizzle City and that Newport could benefit from the others..

Not sure I really understand it.

People can book it to play football and if they are any good the owners can 'recommend' them to BCFC?

What's to stop County (or any club for that matter) to have a scout down there looking too?
