Predicted average finishing positions taken from 1FF for next season are:

MK Dons
Swindon
Notts C
Lincoln

Crewe, Exeter and Mansfield also well backed.

Newport 15th, seems about right to me.

Big favourites for the drop are Yeovil and Morecambe. We were the big favourite for the drop last year.

My preliminary view.

We have lost White and probably Labadie. Michael Flynn is good at setting up a team but last season had a difficulty in changing things around. Which for me is the reason why we were better in the first half of both the season and in individual games. On that basis we could well struggle.

On the plus front Michael Flynn begins his second full season. If he has evaluated his mistakes and learned from his experiences then perhaps next season he will be able to change things around more.

Further it may be the case that one or two really good signings and we have a really competitive team.

At the moment I think we will struggle but survive. 18th. However we will all have a better idea at the start of August and a much better idea by Christmas.
