Experienced defender Troy Archibald-Henville is among seven players to be released by Exeter City. Forwards Robbie Simpson, Ryan Brunt and Liam McAlinden are also leaving, and defender Dan Seaborne and youngsters Alex Byrne and Lewis Williams.

Ryan Brunt, formerly with Argyle is not a prolific goal scorer, but his physical presence causes problems for opposing defences.

Someone Podge could possibly benefit from.

I've always considered Brunt to be a donkey when playing against us - Bristol Rovers, York, someone else?? He had a purple patch at Plymouth but then got injured and has never really made any impression since. We must be able to do better.
