They certainly parked the trawler today and unlike Maradona , Messi can’t carry a whole Argentina team. Ronaldo got close with his performance for Portugal last night.JonD wrote:From what I saw of Argentina v Iceland it seemed pretty backs-to-the-wall but great to see the Icelanders hang on for a draw.
Nice weather there too.
Re: Apparently there's a football tournament in Russia
47Well done Mexico. Fully deserved. Germany were woeful.
Re: Apparently there's a football tournament in Russia
48Germany-Mexico referee has put in a good pitch for the final. Superbly handled.

49Which is more thancan be said of the Brazil.v.Switzerland ref, who should have disallowed the Swiss equaliser and awarded Brazil a penalty later in the game. Brazil were robbed.George Street-Bridge wrote:Germany-Mexico referee has put in a good pitch for the final. Superbly handled.
Not impressed by the manner in which Neymar was targeted throughout the game.

52The Nigerian team said because of their poor performance in their opening World Cup game they will give fans a full refund. To get the full refund all you have to do is send your bank details, pin number and the last three numbers from the back of your card.

55Belgium 2 - Panama 0 ?
its basically the same team that Wales beat and drew with but they have a new coach in Roberto, maybe he can get them to play as a team.
