Ahh, good point. Well I suppose at least he lost.

France were a bit too fally-over for my liking. It’s a shame that Belgium weren’t really at the races. Hopefully whoever wins the other semi can defeat France.

What a strange sort of game that was. Multi millions of pounds worth of talent on show and they seemed to cancel each other out. Most of the finishing was not up to standard hence the 1-0 scoreline.

How Lukaku missed that sitter from the KdB pass late on is a mystery to me. Felt totally underwhelmed by that game.

There is a chance for England to shine tonight. Wish them all the best. 50/50 I reckon. It could be decided by one mistake on either side.

Yes, Lukaku sticks out like a sore thumb in that team. Maybe Fellaini too, I guess, though even he has a bit of skill, whereas Lukaku appears genuinely bemused by this spherical object heading his way. The pass you refer to looked gift-wrapped, didn’t it? Yet he seemed to hold back from attacking the ball, as if expecting it to be intercepted.

Only Hazard and Kompany played well. Easy to see why Martinez got sacked by Everton, totally one-dimensional once they came up against a team with equally good players.

Looked like KdB and Lukaku didn't want to be there, not sure if you can blame the manager for players attitude.

England should win this. They are fresher after resting players during the tournament, and have strength and depth. Croatia lack deep quality and have played extra time in both of the knockout games. Modric must be close to being toast.

Managers should be able to manage, it was the wrong team selection and wrong tactics.

For all my mates from my twenty-odd years living in their country..

“Come aaarn, England”

Oddly I could never bring myself to support their rugby team.

Croatia deserve it after that second half performance. England are hitting and hoping. There has been no build up play, no decent passing from England. Don’t know what Croatia have left in their legs for extra time. England look like the England of old, they are better than this. If England can wake the xxxx up then this is theirs. I can see Vardy coming on and getting a winner. OK game back on.

Decent header by Stones! Pickford has been my man of the match...cool calm and like he is at home playing in a WC semi-final.

Dele Ali is shyte. I’m not convinced by Rashford. Or Lingard for that matter. It’s all going to pot.

2-1 Croatia. 10 minutes left.

Nicely taken Croatia. Sadly England have been playing as individuals from soon into the second half. If they can just work as a team they can get it it 2-2. If they try and do it all as an individual it is goodnight.
