I've got my shift rota up on my wall so I can see all my days off up to 23rd May next year. I've already booked annual leave for August, October & January....
This season, I'll mark all QPR's home games in first, in an attempt to get to Loftus Rd as many times as I can, followed then by County's home games which are easier to get to.
Season ticket is renewed and partly paid for via ZEBRA FINANCE (£30 a month - why wouldn't you?)..... QPR membership sorted at £37.00

So it just remains to wait.........

As Cardiff City are away on the 11th to Bournemouth guess we probably be home on that day ( though could be wrong ) which will probably mean we are away on the first day of the season on the 4th Notts County or Crewe please easy to get to by train.

I'm not sure any more to what extent our fixtures clash or not..... I think in the recent past there have been a number of occasions where County & City have both been home same day / evening.

Commitments on the 4th and the 18th, I'm sweating on Cardiff being away on the weekend of the 11th meaning that's our home game.

Fixtures are just about as bad as they could be for me. Clashing with work left right and centre. I need 6 days off work, and even then I'll only get to just 11 home games!... even if I put County's game first where they clash with QPR, it still only gives me maybe 15 County games at the very very most.

Tough start. It's only when it's in black and white you realise how hard this league is. Crewe, Exeter, Notts C, P. Vale & Oldham in first 8 games

Hasn't done me any favours tbh, Bury away being midweek and Lincoln away the week before Xmas being particular pains. I can see my County fandom being much more virtual than physical this season unfortunately. Might take in the Tranmere match as Saints are playing Liverpool on that weekend too.

Also nice to know which Easter Monday fixture I'm going to is getting snowed off this season, even with Easter 3 weeks later next year... not sure I can deal with another Manchester to Southampton U-turn flight though...

They haven't given dates for the EFL Cup second round anywhere yet - Notts County being midweek on 21 August, with the first round on Monday 13th August, suggests EFL Cup second round will be w/c 27 August, but with Checkatrade games to fit in too, it's not entirely impossible that Notts is subject to us not getting to the EFL Cup 2nd Round. Though you'd think it was unlikely they'd put subject to change games in that early in the season, and it's just the EFL Cup dates between R1 and the Final not being announced that's the issue.

EFL Cup R2 is w/c 27 August - so Notts County won't be moving.

I've managed to switch emphasis to County, and gained back 4 home fixtures: Crewe, Morecambe, MK Dons & Swindon.... partly due to Mrs.NGR pointing out that Newport is closer, and already paid for my seat. Fair point I suppose.
So that's still only 11 County games without taking any annual leave.

Good god, I need a 'County Super 12 Flexi Ticket'...not even joking!

So Exeter away will be restricted to a few hundred away tickets again?

Wonder whether they'll swap the games?
