Would be nice just hope the Forest Green Boxing day score is not the same 0-5 if I remember correctly not long after we had beaten them away 2-1.

Me too.

I was at both those games (though won't be this season).

The weather couldn't have been in greater contrast, however.

There was beautiful weather in August and it was only raining UK Olympic medals at the time, so much so that there was even a medal winner in my carriage on the train to Nottingham. (I never did discover her name or the sport she had achieved it in, something aquatic, I think.) Carnival atmosphere and cracking game, too.

At FGR I was fortunate to be sitting under cover unlike most County fans to witness Ryan Charles' finest moment getting the winner. I could never understand why the poor lad didn't earn a start in the return fixture.
