If I have seen correctly, nearly everyone one of county's home fixtures for Saturday also falls on a home game for Swans, apart from the international break.
I am assuming this was pre planned due to avoid the clashing of Cardiff fans on the trains etc.
I was looking forward to visitng RP a few times next season to watch county. Now it looks like i can only get up for one or maybe two fixtures.
Re: Newport County and Swansea City fixtures
2Considering you're not even a County fan, one or two games would be great
Re: Newport County and Swansea City fixtures
4I recall it’s been like this for years.
Certainly whenever I’m offered Swans tickets for a Saturday fixture I am never able to go as County are playing

I was just wondering the reasons. I know Swansea and Cardiff hardly have home games at the same time due to fans clashing i've always thought.
This is the first time in 30 years that Swansea and County play in the football league, (without swans being in the premier league).
Re: Newport County and Swansea City fixtures
6IF Swansea are doing well quite a lot of their fixtures may change so that the games will be shown on Sky
Re: Newport County and Swansea City fixtures
7Must have been different in recent as I know there are a few Swansea fans who attend our games?
