I've seen and met Norm at southern away games when we were in the conference - he's a pensioner now and can't afford to get to many games.

In fairness I can think of other men that proclaim to be Newport county supporters whilst never attending a game that try to be far more damaging to our club than Norm

Having had a closer look, I'd swap the amber socks to match the amber shirt, and black socks with black shirt. Before anyone says anything, the photo for this very messageboard has that colour scheme.

Put it this way , any supporter not attending games and spending days colluding with a bitter ex employee in an attempt to bring the club down whilst we are in the play offs is no supporter of Newport County.

It is heartwarming that the attendances increased during that period though.

A lot of fans want to stick with tradition yes,but I was instrumental in persuading the Club to try all amber for five years in our AFC days.I honestly think it looks better.Then we did it again in our first season in the league and the great escape year so why not again.The black kit certainly looks more impressive all black also.Maybe next year?.
