Pontypool Park won't be re-developed in any of our life times. The covenant story is all truth.
The people at PRFC have been talking about getting a different ground since at least the 1980's but they were the best team in the northern hemisphere then and still couldn't manage to do it. At times playing in front of 15,000 - 20,000 crowds. Let's hope this Jeffreys chap pulls it off though.
Pontypool need a new ground and so do we and it's got nothing to do with the Cuddy thing. No one knows the WRU's intentions but I don't trust them to do the right thing by a football team.
The clock is ticking, we need businessmen with deep pockets and passion for the club and not a well meaning committee of volunteers, as dedicated as they are. They're putting time in but not money in the sums we need to develop or even stand still.
The difference between now and our historic worries is that this time we know our expiration date!!!!!!
