Six month loan according to the Club website:

18-year-old forward Antoine Semenyo has joined the Exiles on a six month loan from Bristol City. The eighteen-year-old joined Bristol’s academy after impressing for SGS College. After welcoming Semenyo to the Academy, Brian Tinnion (City’s loan manager) told BCFC.co.uk: “[We] spotted Antoine liked what we saw. He spent a short time on trial with us before putting pen to paper.”

It's changed then as the original announcement said
"Newport County AFC are delighted to announce that Forward Antoine Semenyo has joined the Club on a one year deal"
