I should think that having just been relegated and losing some of their best players they'll be playing the best available team as much as possible to get the gaps filled and the players gelling asap for the season ahead.

49And having said that, they've got it listed as an U23 friendly on their website: https://www.stokecityfc.com/news/u23s-f ... -confirmed and their first team are away to St-Pauli in Germany, so I very much doubt there will be any first teamers at Rodney Parade as the "playing the best available team" comment I made above will relate to the match in Germany instead.
