The other lad from Bristol was on trial as well. This is the market we are in now. We wouldn’t be having the best kids from Bristol on trial with us before loaning them cause Bristol would laugh at us. But we are looking at that next level of talent who probably don’t have a career at Bristol’s city long term so they don’t mind letting them go on trial to secure loans. Also likely no other interest in the football league for them.

Played further up the pitch nearer the number 10 role (not sure if that was what he was meant to be doing, lost track of the subs after a while), and was much more involved creatively between the edge of the centre circle and outside the box than destructively (i.e. he wasn't haring around pressing people but he won the ball back a couple of times), had good quick feet and very good at seeing the pass and executing it simply - his one shot wasn't ever going in but tbf he was trying to bend it into the top corner with the outside of his right boot from about 25-30 yards. :lol:
