Mansfield Manager ran on and led their number 5 Pearce off the pitch after a few handbags with about 2 minutes left
He went down the tunnel but when final whistle went he ran back on the pitch for another go at Forestieri and it kicked off big time not just the 22 but all the subs as well
A few punches thrown but mainly pushing and shoving from what I could see from the Wednesday end
Pearce was probably Mansfields best player last night so a ban would be in our favour for sure

Was reading about that this morning. There's certain to be repercussions. The video seemed to show complete lack of control, apparently centering on a remark made to Krystian Pearce. I believe I recall him getting sent off against us when playing for Torquay at Plainmoor. He seemed a good match for the Mansfield approach to football. Their forum seems to suggest Flitcroft took him off - quite literally walked onto the pitch and escorted him away - before the referee could take action. May have saved him a red card and ban.

Ref booked Foristieri and seemed to be looking for Pearce but he was long gone
Flitcroft literally ran on and marched Pearce off
Pearce kicked something near the bench before going down the tunnel at the far end
May well be in bother when F A investigate it
