Not that impressed with our signings so far.....IMO we are about the same level as last year

Keeper........ Good.... Day needs competition

Defence....... Good....... Still feel we need a dominating centre half and cover at left back

Midfield....... Average.......... Will be better with Sheehan in it but still missing a midfield general, Someone who takes control of the game and demands the ball

Attack..........Average............Amond aside we are quite lightweight up front . Matt was a beast when he was playing in Non League but hasn't set the world alight for the last three seasons..............need at least one experienced striker who's legs havent gone ( Hayes last season, good player and goal scorer at our level five years ago)...need better otherwise not sure where the goals are going to come from.
Loan signings...........Are Bristol City the only team were loaning players off ???? Why not Cardiff , Swansea or other Championship sides and maybe Brighton ( after the success of White ? ) Yeovil seem to manage to get players from premiership clubs through their managers contacts, hasn't Flynn/Lawrence got any contacts ?

Need 4 players IMO...2 signings and 2 loans if the budget will stretch that far.....Forget Labadie and move on because IMO MF seems to be holding back some of his budget in the hope he will sign a new deal. After 8 months its obvious he sees his future elsewhere

batten down the hatches because the usual suspects wont agree with me

Mid - table for me, maybe 13 / 14th, with a decent cup run.

Not too concerned about a back up keeper. If finances are tight can we afford to pay a bench warmer. Joe is a good L2 keeper - has done fine in my view without a challenger for his spot. Joe plays better with better CBs in front of him, an obvious comment I know but it seems to give him confidence - hopefully should be ok with Dem, Franks, O'B and Bennett in front of him. If Joe is injured we can bring in an emergency loan.

Defence looks good. Again, if money is tight use Dem as back up for Butler which is where he's spent most of his career anyway.

Midfield looks ok on paper particularly if Bakinson signs up. Some good options with most guys offering something a bit different.

Attack looks weak with Podge, Matt and the young lad from Briz. Need some more options there.

Starting line up

Day
Forbes Franks Demetriou Butler
Crofts
Cooper Sheehan Marsh-Brown
Amond Matt

Bennett, Pipe, O'Brien, Willmott, Dolan, Semenyo, Bakinson
