All of the new signings look poor.
It was just a friendly so won't get too downhearted.
Will have to wait and see how we perform against League Two opposition and hope there are two worse teams than us over the course of the season.

I didn't go, I don't do friendlies, but my mucca reckons Crofts played well and KMB looked pretty dangerous.

33It's only one game but;
Labadie > Crofts.
Wilmott > KMB.
But I hope to be proved wrong.

Re: GRANDSTAND (or simply BISLEY Stand): Stoke City
34Only a friendly. Hard to tell in these games plus no Joe Day. Real games start next week then we can judge.
Re: GRANDSTAND (or simply BISLEY Stand): Stoke City
35KMB was excellent, pacy, ran at players and passed well. He was the best of our new players. Crofts played very deep and seemed sluggish. A lot of his passes were sideways or backwards. Semenyo looked half decent and the Bristol lad looked ok when he came on.Exile 1976 wrote:Baladabadi wrote:All of the new signings look poor.

36David Pipe looked very sharp and he certainly knew how to cross effectively, I also like Matte, a number of other players showed some good moves too---- after missing last season I found it a bit difficult to follow as there were no numbers in the programmes but the weather was no help either. the number of substitutions made the scoreline irrelevant . I think the County should have good season.

38I'm not sure how Labade can come into the equation when at the moment, he's not our player.Baladabadi wrote:It's only one game but;

40He comes in the equation as Labadie's replacement is of a lower standard.Cornish Exile wrote:I'm not sure how Labade can come into the equation when at the moment, he's not our player.Baladabadi wrote:It's only one game but;

41That's good, he made a couple of early runs last week then tailed off a bit as the game went on.Willthiswork wrote:Yeah, he was all over the place, certainly out to make his mark.big baz wrote:I left just after the stoke goal but Semenyo looked very good. Great at finding space.

42They were both pretty below par at Hereford, Crofts was as quiet again then? Hmmm.SULLY34 wrote: Wilmott < KMB without question.

43Labadie's replacement if Labadie was still contracted would just be an injured Labadie...Baladabadi wrote:He comes in the equation as Labadie's replacement is of a lower standard.Cornish Exile wrote:I'm not sure how Labade can come into the equation when at the moment, he's not our player.Baladabadi wrote:It's only one game but;

44I thought KMB had a great 45mins today. Crofts was steady and Wilmott didn't play. Think Flynny is resting him ready for MansfieldSJG99 wrote:They were both pretty below par at Hereford, Crofts was as quiet again then? Hmmm.SULLY34 wrote: Wilmott < KMB without question.

45Was he by any chance wearing fluorescent yellow boots with red bits? That's what Bakinson wore at Hereford.Amberexile wrote:Trialist 2 = Bakinson according to ArgusWillthiswork wrote:Trialist 2 comes on for Crofts
