Re: MOM Mansfield

Good Evening

Based on the first half I go for Franks. Got stuck in and battled hard.

Amond ran around all game chasing half chances and lost causes.

Day did well on the few occasions required

Seemed that they were using Butler as the playmaker out of defence, but little materialised from this ploy.

Disappointed in Matt, just seemed to lack the strikers instinct, and there seemed no joined up thinking with strike partner Amond.

I didn’t rate Mansfield as good as most seem to, time will tell, they were just stronger and more “together”

We did ok first half and I saw enough to suggest we will manage to finish five or six off the bottom, if we survive any off field crisis.

Looking forward to coming down next Saturday, after which I may not be quite as upbeat!
