What are the possibilities if it turns out that the property wasn’t Newport Corporation’s to sell in the first place ?

Or if it wasn’t actually sold but trusted to Newport Athletic Club

Just add it to the list of Electricity/Gas/Water Boards that governments have sold off, even though they were owned by us..............

I think you are right, this is water under the bridge by now. I’m sure any suggestion of illegality was made at the time. I think the way forward is WRU and Newport County have to work together with some give and take. If they work together for sport in Newport then I’m convinced this can be a success story, if they don’t.........

You know other than footballing matters, I usually find myself totally in agreement with you. On bookmakers, scum feeding on the weak, Government, selling off our assets to their cronies, etc.

Once Gatland and Edwards depart after the RWC 2019, I fear welsh rugby will be on it`s decline, so I suppose the WRU need to make as much money as possible in that time, just hope it`s not at our expense.
