18Hope he doesn't start signalling to the bench every time he has a little niggle .....
Re: They call him the train
21On Tuesday he played with so much energy, full steam ahead from the first whistle. He derailed any Notts County ideas of getting back into the game. And his cross into the (signal) box for the winner was superb.
Re: They call him the train
22He looks strong as well . I can't see him being shunted off the ball too often
Re: They call him the train
23Some fabulous puns on this thread. On a more serious note. Should he start ahead of Pipey on Saturday if both are fully fit ?
Re: They call him the train
24Tyler should start on Saturday because David Pipe trains him so well.OLDCROMWELLIAN wrote:Some fabulous puns on this thread. On a more serious note. Should he start ahead of Pipey on Saturday if both are fully fit ?
Re: They call him the train
25If he does, he must keep on track, and station himself in the correct position during the game. He has to concentrate, keep a level head, crossing wherever possible, paying no attention to the timetable before the game and provide a sound platform for the team. That's the ticket.OLDCROMWELLIAN wrote:Some fabulous puns on this thread. On a more serious note. Should he start ahead of Pipey on Saturday if both are fully fit ?
Re: They call him the train
26If he doesn't he will have to remain in the waiting room until the fat controller gets him on the right lines.pembsexile wrote:If he does, he must keep on track, and station himself in the correct position during the game. Sorry, that's the best train-related pun I can manage....was going loco trying to think of one.OLDCROMWELLIAN wrote:Some fabulous puns on this thread. On a more serious note.
