Anyone know why there is P Vale sign on the M4 with a football symbol, just before J29? It's been there for a long time, probably over a year.

Probably dates back to when the millennium was being used for finals, or in this case prob a play off final (Wembley rebuild), when signs were used to direct visiting fans to different parts of the city?

I see it often, and if I was a vale fan, I would have nabbed it by now !!!

Maybe its pointing to the warehouse where the FA keep all the points referees have stolen from Port Vale by way of dodgy penalty calls.

I think it is a lot older than a year and is the old tourist sign pointing to the Garden Festival Ebbw Vale. It was simply covered up by a new sign, part of which has now dropped revealing the old one. I think the edge of the Garden Festival logo can just be seen on the exposed part of the sign.

PVale played at the Millenium in LDV final in 2001 .... which as you say is older than a year ... that’s my guess. The sign actually has a P next to the Vale.
