Re: Wales v Rep Ireland
2Certainly a very promising and enterprising display by Wales under their new manager, who was brave enough to introduce a number of youngsters to the starting side This has to be tempered by the fact they were playing a much depleted and mediocre ROI .
Re: Wales v Rep Ireland
3Great result but why was Ramsey messing about on the edge of our box when we are four up.
Re: Wales v Rep Ireland
4Just being too cocky i guess. Hopefully he'll never do it if the game was close.Percy plunkett wrote:Great result but why was Ramsey messing about on the edge of our box when we are four up.
P.s Sure to be a much sterner test against Denmark now they are to put out their best side
Re: Wales v Rep Ireland
5Great result today but Eriksen will exploit the complete lack of pace and ability Ashley Williams has been exhibiting for the past 2 years. Still, every chance that result will prevent us getting relegated to Division C. Only 4 matches for Wales in the group stage, after all.

6Nice to see Giggs turn up for a Wales game !

Re: Wales v Rep Ireland
7To be fair to Giggs most of the managers he played under were utter dogshite ie Bobby effing Gould 95 -99 and the set up behind the scenes was shocking.
Great result tonight though, We played some great attacking football.

Re: Wales v Rep Ireland
9Excellent performance albeit against a poor side, only gripe is we should have put 10 on them

10Obviously referring to Wales and why he never turned up for friendlies.daftasfxxx wrote:Yes and Alex effing Furguson 1990-2013

11Slightly off subject, but in relation to the manager i.e. Danny Wilsons' little boy Ryan Joseph, fo those old enough to remember his father, anyone notice his increasing resemblance to his father ?

And that's why he played for one of the best teams in Europe until he was nearly 40 because he didn't play meaningless friendlies.
If those young players follow his lead they should do well.
Re: Wales v Rep Ireland
13He should be setting an example to the youngsters and not mucking about, I hope that RG clipped him around the ear....are they still allowed to do that ?Percy plunkett wrote:Great result but why was Ramsey messing about on the edge of our box when we are four up.

14Giggs made 64 appearances for Wales, that's not too shabby.Corpaboy wrote:Nice to see Giggs turn up for a Wales game !

Re: Wales v Rep Ireland
15I for one hope they don’t follow in Giggs’ footsteps. You mention he has 64 caps. I read somewhere that Wales played 134 times from the time he made his debut until he retired from international football. That’s shameful. I’ve always reckoned that if he could have, he would have played for England.penycwm county wrote:rncfc wrote:Obviously referring to Wales and why he never turned up for friendlies.daftasfxxx wrote:Yes and Alex effing Furguson 1990-2013
