I am not very conversant with football league officials etc but I have often wondered the following points
A/ Who are the match officials for a game eg, Referee, and Two linesmen, and is there one other official present at league matches, ??
B/ Do they work as a team together throughout the season ie, or do they swap different partners each game ?
C/ Do referees always referee, or are they sometimes linesman and vice versa, ie do linesmen sometimes referee?
D/ If there IS a fourth official at each game, does he award the marks for the job done by the referee at that match? and if so Do referees ever get demoted for a series of poor marks awarded to him during a season?
