First half, it was Butler, as everything went up the left. Second half Bennetts tenacity won out. But then Pipey,s introduction gave the determination to win.

That is a very good summary.

Many candidates Demetriou for me defensively outstanding, organised and marshalled defence along with Franks brilliantly. Also made some great surging attacks through midfield. Great captain's display.
Agree with Bennett he has been finding his best form in the last month both as a cb and midfielder.

Great win when at no where near our best, which bodes well. Cannot believe people are saying Dolan?! but that's opinions.

Bennett for me with Franks Dolan and Micky D not far behind.

MD for me.

Franks and Micky, as always, were solid at the back. Jamile Matt led the line superbly and is consistently putting in some great performances and working his socks off for the team. Dolan looks alot fitter and brighter this season and Podge just does what he does game after game - fantastic (as does Dan Butler).
Semenyo came on and changed the game when we were flat and then Pipey came on gave another lift both to the team and crowd.
A case could be made for several players in an 'OK performance' where no-one really stood out. The one that just shaved it for me was Bennett - because he was always getting a foot in, challenging, closing down and making it difficult for Stevenage to get out and hit us on the break plus he showed some good composure when on the ball.

Dolan for me! Showed us what we have been missing in the centre for the last few games.
Closely followed by Bennett who had an excellent game too.

Amond was running everywhere and causing problems to the defenders again!
