A few great performances but between Dolan and Bennett for me........Bennett it is.

I would agree with that and just for taking his excellent back three first half performance into an equally good midfield performance after the first substitution it’s Bennett for me just ahead of Dolan.
Amond as always also worthy of a mention.

Dolan was excellent in the middle today and the front two worked hard from start to finish BUT, for me, my motm was super composed on the ball, loads of tackles and headers won. So take a bow Scot 'his legs have gone' Bennett !

What a difficult decision!! Bakinson always kept us going forward, Dolan showed us what we've missed recently, Bennett was like a terrier. My vote goes to...... Mickey Demetriou.

close call for me between Bakinson and Dplan for a more combative midfield performance today. However Dolan has to take it for that sublime 1st minute volley

100% mate. We played very well today, mixed up long and short passing, defended well.
Stevenage time wasted from about 70 mins onward, they were trying to escape with a point but we managed to get the 3pts we deserved.

A deserved win against a good physical team that will be in and around the playoffs come May.

Bennett for me. Tough to play well in 2 different positions in same game but he managed it.

We played all right considering we were playing a team that was 4th in the league and were aching to redeem themselves after the 8-0 defeat to charlton but my MOM goes to Matty Dolan

I do so hate to be pedantic but Stevenage were 5th going into the game, due to Tranmere winning on Friday night and thus climbing above Stevenage.

I actually agree with Flynn's post match comment that County weren't at their best, but possibly neither were Stevenage. I don't know about looking for the point from 70 minutes - they seemed content with the point as soon as they scored the equaliser.

Bennett MOM because he managed to be the best defender when in defence and then the best midfielder when he was moved into there...
