Shape of the team was compromised from the start, largely caused by our injuries, which got worse by more injuries but is compounded by the unbelievable and relentless desire to keep a certain player on the pitch - it is beyond bizarre and hurting the team.
Anyway, Pipe and Butler were the pick from the back line and Amound/ Matt from the front players, the wilderness which is our midfield couldn't muster a contender (Pring worthy of a mention as showed he showed pace, desire and skill - did well when he came on).

Amound MoM (....and midfielders in our club - please sit down Monday morning and watch what a front man can do in the areas where you are supposed to play and be effective ...but as a group have abdicated in the last several weeks).

Podge for me as he was excellent yesterday. A very street wise pro who knows every trick in the book.
A special mention for Pring who caused them all sorts of problems when he came on, looking forward to seeing him in this more advanced role.

Podge did great but I hope we don't see him playing there again as he is wasted.Pipe also out of position at CB did what Pipey does best and that is battle.Give it to Pipe for me.

Pipe , Butler , Amond , Day and Pring all did well yesterday IMO...
I will give my vote to Pring as he seemed the best option for us yesterday second half to get a goal

Why doesn't MF give the lad a start to see if he can produce the goods for a whole game ???
