I think he is more of a realist - for some reason over the years some hook into a poor player who can then do no wrong - Darryl Kingjts - jake Harris come to mind - If you look at Willmotts history we are the only league club he has played for - and the reality is he is not a L2 player yes every now again he makes a pass but a game is 90 mins!

when he was released by us he was hardly snowed under with offers & ended up working for tesco's
in Chelmsford, & since he came back have we received any offers for him?

I don't think any of us would know about offers being made??

Has he not played for Cambridge United and Luton Town previously??

Yes, In the Blue Square Premier.
We’re the only team he’s played in the FL for.
Luton apparently paid £50k for him in Jan ‘11 then he went back to Cambridge on a free in ‘12

Flynn's comment in the Argus

Robbie [Willmott] did very well at left wing-back. First on the team sheet if Day and Townsend are out then Willmotts your man!!!

There's hardly a gap between the fourth and fifth tiers at this point anyway. Think Willmott is fine at this level. We've had a lot worse who are clearly not up to League 2 standard. Willmott's nowhere near them.

Could we do better? Probably. Would they be more expensive? Definitely.

Robbie plays ok wide on the right but is anonymous when in centre midfield.
