2.... I won't count any chickens but if we can beat Wrexham, I'm happy with that draw.
Re: Leicester at Home
3Added incentive for Wrexham replay? Or did we need one?Blackandamber wrote:If we win replay

4Good Evening!
Smashing draw for me, I work out of Market Harborough, half way between Northampton and Leicester. A lot of lads at work are big Leicester fans.
I know they will be dead worried!

Re: Leicester at Home
5Reasonably happy with that if we win the replay a premier league side at home there were a lot of worse draws we could have had.
Re: Leicester at Home
7It would be amazing if we played the Premier League champions of only 2 years ago.
Re: Leicester at Home
8County have beaten Leicester. In 1945 at Somerton Park.It was raining if I remember correctly.
Re: Leicester at Home
9Yes,a tap in and a header from Albert Derrick. They beat us up there the following week.Eddie Carr got 12 votes on the MOM thread but Albert won it with 19 votes.Billy Owen third with 2 votes.G Guest wrote:County have beaten Leicester. 10... as with just about everything, I doubt I'll able to go unless it's played on the Sunday/Monday.

12Which Billy Owen was that. If I remember, we had two on our books at the time, one played at half-back, the other on the left wing.Percy plunkett wrote:Yes,a tap in and a header from Albert Derrick. They beat us up there the following week.Eddie Carr got 12 votes on the MOM thread but Albert won it with 19 votes.Billy Owen third with 2 votes.G Guest wrote:County have beaten Leicester. Re: Leicester at Home
13It is potentially a great draw for us and another opportunity for the Newport hierarchy to attend and patronise us with how vital proffesional sport is for our City and how the City needs a stadium befitting our City status..before disappearing for another year.
Re: Leicester at Home
15Great draw if we can get through. Dare I say it, not an impossible match to win against their second string.
