On an unrelated note, I promised I’d take the boy for a pre-match curry. Can anyone recommend a decent curryhouse within walking distance of RP?
Re: Wrexham replay tickets?
32I once went to an Indian called somwthing like "Poppadoms" which was in the street where they have the food festival. You gotta go upstairs to it.
Re: Wrexham replay tickets?

Hati by George Street Furnishers is good too , but a bit of a trek to RP
Re: Wrexham replay tickets?
35Talking of the cup. Woking not satisfied with £150'000 from B T have hoiked their Watford tickets to £20 ....tad greedy
Re: Wrexham replay tickets?
36What's the capacity at Woking nowadays. I remember seeing it when living in the area about 35 years ago. Seemed very small in those daysmad norm wrote:Talking of the cup. Woking not satisfied with £150'000 from B T have hoiked their Watford tickets to £20 ....tad greedy

37Nah, Shoboraj is the only option on Malpas road.UPTHEPORT wrote:Vanilla Spice mate on Harliquin roundabout 10 min walkKairdiff Exile wrote:Booked tickets for me and the older child this morning. Surprised how many have already been sold.

Re: Wrexham replay tickets?
38Given the state of the 'facilities' at RP, I'm not sure I'd recommend a pre-match curry anywhere!
Re: Wrexham replay tickets?
39Shoboraj 30 Malpas Rd, Newport NP20 5PA has to be the best curry house in Newport.
Re: Wrexham replay tickets?
40Thanks for the suggestions, much appreciated. Might give the Shoboraj a go. But Barnabas raises a good point about not wanting to risk Delhi belly in the RP bogs so nothing spicier than a bhuna for me!

Re: Wrexham replay tickets?
43Well I tried all day today calling the ticket office, you would never guess, no answer. So if they can't be bothered to answer the bloody phone, why should I bother to travel from Somerset any more?
Re: Wrexham replay tickets?
44Can’t we now book online? (I’ve not tried. It’s ifollow or nothing for me where evening kickoffs are concerned these days).
Re: Wrexham replay tickets?
45Do you want me to get them for you today and send them registered delivery or we can meet on the night to exchange?butlinsamber wrote:Well I tried all day today calling the ticket office, you would never guess, no answer.
