Hi
Any recommendations as to what pubs near to Rodney Parade are away fan friendly and let away fans in.
Re: Pubs for away fans
3The Friendship in Ringland, just off the M4.
The most ironically named pub in the city.

6Best I don't suggest the Lamb in Bridge St then. That used to be the away clubs pub.daftasfxxx wrote:Fok me, where have you been? Has been closed for yearswhoareya wrote:The Friendship in Ringland, just off the M4.

8Hopefully we get there early enough to try some out. As long as the glorious South Wales police don't keep us waiting at a service station for an hour to escort the coaches in like they did at Cardiff earlier this season

Shouldn't have thought so. Besides we are within the Gwent police region rather than South Wales police region. Maybe a different attitude.

Just pitch up near the ground , you will be welcome in any pub unless you are looking to cause trouble. There are dozens of bars within 1 mile of Rodney Parade.

11Good Evening!
I hope all those Leicester coaches are not going to be clogging up the roads on our way down to Newport on Sunday!
We will be flying the Amber colours down the M5/M4!
Phil in Northampton

All travelling @LCFC fans are encouraged to use @NewportNeon before tomorrow’s match as an official pre-game watering hole ahead of kick off.
A fully-stocked bar and the warmest of welcomes is guaranteed! Rodney Parade is just a few minutes walk away too.
