The lad really put his self in the shop window yesterday, is he with us for the season or can Bristol city call him back? I really hope we can keep hold of him for the rest of the season. I watched the game back when I got home last night and martin keown was waxing lyrical over him, we are watching a star in the making (his words)

City won’t recall him. They can see the value of him playing well, scoring goals in a side who are doing okay and either coming back a better player or being poached for a fee.

I presume though, there is nothing stopping Bristol City accepting a bid for him if they receive one within the transfer window?

I'm surprised City don't want him back to ease him into their own team.

He was superb yesterday. Strong, quick and brave. I can easily see him playing at a higher level. Agree with earlier poster that Bristol City will be happy to leave him here as I doubt he would play week in week out for them just yet.

Like Ben White we just need to enjoy him while we can. He could be worth a lot of money in the future being a young english striker.

Knowing our luck we will be drawn against Bristol city in r4 so he won't be able to play.
