Could anyone who is experienced at away coach travel, give us their best estimate of what time the coach will get back to Newport, assuming it's a 3:00 pm KO, and they leave at 5:15?
I've already got a National Express ticket paid for to London (for QPR v West Brom- now postponed) that I can't refund, so if it's too late back from Boro' I'm going to dive over the Orient for the afternoon.

I'm sure you will get better answers but I'd guess about 11pm if coach has a stop off (it has on previous long trips).

Went on the coach to Hartlepool a few seasons back. Wasn't expecting to be back before eleven but I think it was not long after 10:30. I wouldn't make plans on anything before eleven though.

cheers... it's getting back to Cardiff is the issue. Course, I can't support my LOCAL team like normal people!

That was my problem. The last bus to Cardiff was 10:50, so I booked a room in Newport, only to find that I was back in time for the bus!

Unless there are two drivers on the coach the bus LEGALLY has to make a stop due to the travel time

The usual arrangement for the longer trips is two drivers and a brief 'comfort stop' on the way back.

My son in law lives there and a season ticker holder (poor thing) so going to have some banter during the game took me just over 4 hrs earlier this year to go up there we will take at least 1000 and make more noise come on the port

Back to Newport between 11 & midnight I reckon if it's a 3pm kick off.
